Check if your device supports eSIM — most phones from 2019 on do.

We have confirmed 22 Vivo models that support eSIM. The newest include Vivo X80 Pro, Vivo V29 & Vivo V29 Lite.

To check a Vivo phone yourself, dial *#06#. If an EID number appears, the phone has eSIM. You can also look in Settings for an option to add an eSIM or a mobile plan.

The phone also has to be carrier-unlocked. A phone bought on a contract may be locked to its network, so ask your carrier before you travel.
