What Happens When My Data Runs Out?
When you use all the data in your plan, your eSIM will stop providing mobile data. You won't be charged extra — the service simply stops.
How will I know I'm running low?
- Check your usage in your account under My eSIMs.
- Monitor device data usage: Settings → Cellular / Mobile Service on iPhone, or Settings → Data usage on Android.
- You may receive an SMS from the local carrier when you're close to your limit (not guaranteed).
What can I do?
- Purchase a new plan — visit EscapeSIM and buy a new plan for your destination. Contact support for advice on the best option.
- Use Wi-Fi — hotels, cafes, and airports almost always have Wi-Fi you can use in the meantime.
Can I top up my existing plan?
Top-up availability depends on the plan type. Contact our support team with your order number and we'll advise on your options.
