What your data allowance means, how it's counted, and what happens at the end of your plan.
Understanding Your eSIM Plan
Data allowance
Your plan includes a set amount of data (e.g. 3GB, 10GB). This is shared data — all usage on the eSIM counts toward the limit regardless of what you're doing (streaming, browsing, maps, etc.).
Validity period
Plans have a validity period (e.g. 30 days). When the clock starts depends on the plan — most start from first data use on the destination network, but some start on QR code scan or from the purchase date. Always check your plan's description. See How Long Does My Plan Last? for the full breakdown.
What happens when data runs out?
Your eSIM will stop providing data when either the allowance is used up or the validity period expires, whichever comes first. You'll need to purchase a new plan to get back online. Contact support for top-up options.
Can I check how much data I've used?
Log in to your account and go to My eSIMs to see your current usage (where available for your plan type). You can also check on your device:
- iPhone: Settings → Cellular / Mobile Service → scroll down to see data used per app.
- Android: Settings → Network & Internet / Connections → Data usage.
