Install using the Android Setup Link
Open your EscapeSIM email and tap Android Setup. This will launch Samsung’s eSIM installation process.

- Install using the Android Setup Link Open your EscapeSIM email and tap Android Setup. This will launch Samsung’s eSIM installation process.
- Start the setup When Set up your eSIM appears, tap Setup to securely retrieve the eSIM details.
- Add the eSIM Check the eSIM details and tap Add to begin the installation.
- Wait for the installation Keep your phone connected to the internet while the eSIM downloads. This may take a minute.
- Option 2: Install using the QR code Option 2: Save or screenshot the EscapeSIM QR code on your phone. You can select it from your Gallery or scan it from another device. Go to: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM
- Choose the QR code option Option 2: Tap Scan QR code.
- Scan or select the QR code Option 2: Either: Point your camera at the QR code displayed on another device, or Tap the Gallery icon and select the saved QR code or screenshot from your phone. Once recognised, follow the prompts to download and add the eSIM.
- Name your EscapeSIM Rename the new eSIM to EscapeSIM or your destination so it is easy to identify, then tap Next. You can change this later under: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Select the eSIM → Name
- Keep calls on your home SIM Select your regular home SIM for outgoing calls, then tap Next. You can change this later under: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Calls
- Keep messages on your home SIM Select your regular home SIM for messages, then tap Next. You can change this later under: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Messages
- Select EscapeSIM for mobile data Choose the newly installed EscapeSIM for mobile data. Leave Data switching and backup calling turned off, then tap Done. You can change this later under: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Mobile data
- Enable data roaming Go to: Settings → Connections → Mobile networks → Data roaming [EscapeSIM] Select All networks. Data roaming must be enabled for your EscapeSIM to connect overseas, if you only see a slider for this part, just ensure that it is turned on.
- Check your SIM settings Go to: Settings → Connections → SIM manager Confirm that: Your EscapeSIM is switched on. Mobile data is set to EscapeSIM. Calls and Messages remain set to your home SIM. Data switching and backup calling is turned off.
