Which Microsoft Surface devices support eSIM?

We have confirmed 5 Microsoft Surface models that support eSIM. The newest include Surface Duo, Surface Duo 2 & Surface Pro X.

To check a Microsoft Surface phone yourself, dial *#06#. If an EID number appears, the phone has eSIM. You can also look in Settings for an option to add an eSIM or a mobile plan.

The phone also has to be carrier-unlocked. A phone bought on a contract may be locked to its network, so ask your carrier before you travel.

The device also needs to be LTE-ready. · Surface: Any AT&T-locked devices will not support eSIMs. If your device was purchased through another carrier, the carrier may have disabled eSIM capability in the Surface Duo. Please contact the carrier to confirm.
