Installing Your eSIM on Android
Before you start, connect to Wi-Fi — your phone needs internet access to download the eSIM.
Google Pixel
- Open Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs.
- Tap the + button or Add SIM.
- Tap Download a SIM instead?
- Tap Next, then scan the QR code from your EscapeSIM email.
- Tap Download, then Activate when prompted.
- Go back to SIMs, tap your new EscapeSIM SIM, and enable Roaming.
- Tap Mobile data and select EscapeSIM as your data SIM.
Samsung Galaxy
- Open Settings → Connections → SIM card manager.
- Tap Add mobile plan or the + icon.
- Tap Scan carrier QR code and scan from your EscapeSIM email.
- Follow the prompts to download and activate.
- In SIM card manager, tap Mobile data and select EscapeSIM.
- Go to Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks and enable Data roaming.
Other Android devices
Most Android 10+ devices follow a similar path. Look for Settings → Network → SIM / eSIM → Add eSIM. If you can't find the option, check our device compatibility guide.
QR code won't scan?
Look for an option to Enter activation code manually and type the code from your confirmation email.
